Oct 10:Celtic Woman "Isle of Hope" Tour 2009 - The international Irish music phenomenon, Celtic Woman, returns to U.S. shores this fall for the 2nd leg of their Isle of Hope tour. The multi-platinum group appeared on several national television shows including Dancing With The Stars, Today Show and Good Morning America while wrapping up its five month U.S. tour in July. Celtic Woman returned home to Ireland in August and was awarded 'Best Celtic Group' at the 2009 Ireland Music Awards. Seats are $55, $40 and $30.

Oct 16:Taste Of Home Cooking Show - Back by popular demand, the Taste of Home Cooking School Made Easy! returns to Evansville. For more than fifty years, Taste of Home, the largest circulation cooking magazine in the world, has hosted these shows across the nation! On-stage demonstrations of food preparation by a professional culinary specialist, the latest kitchen appliances, new food products, innovative cooking techniques and tons of major prizes are on the menu. Admission is $15 which includes admission to the Remodeling & Energy Expo and a free Taste of Home tote bag. Begins at 7 p.m.


Oct 17:A Big Night For The Little Sisters Fundraiser - This year's theme is 'Sing, Sing, Sing!' and it will begin with hors d'oeuvres and cocktails at 5:00 along with a Silent and a Live Auction. Dinner is at 7:00 with entertainment by Bob Schaffstein and the Temple Aires. The public is invited; tickets are $125 a person but call ahead to The Little Sisters of the Poor at 812-464-3607, since tickets are selling fast. All proceeds from this annual fundraiser go to The Little Sisters of the Poor.

Oct 2-4:Greater Tuna - Greater Tuna is the hilarious comedy about Texas' third smallest town, where the Lion's Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies. The eclectic band of citizens in this hilarious send-up of small town morals are portrayed by only two performers, making this satire on life in rural America even more delightful as they depict all of the inhabitants of Tuna, Texas - men, women, children and animals in a tour de farce of quick change artistry, changing costumes and characterizations faster than a jack rabbit runs from a coyote. Two actors, twenty characters and a barrel of laughs, ya'll! This is a rip-roarin’ good time! Performances are at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Through November 29: American Visions: The Folk Art Collection of Lisa and Marty Imbler. Acquired over the past twenty years with the expert guidance of Mike Smith, Director of the At Home Gallery in Greensboro, North Carolina, the Imbler Collection has an emphasis on art of the American South and includes paintings, drawings, sculpture, ceramics, and mixed media work by some of the country's best known self taught artists -- James Harold Jennings, Howard Finster, Bill Traylor, Jimmy Lee Sudduth, Sister Gertrude Morgan, Leroy Almon, Benjamin Franklin Perkins, Minnie Evans, Mary Tillman Smith and Thornton Dial.

Oct 25:Main Street Trick or Treat - Victory Theatre and the Main Street Walkway will be the host of the 10th Annual Main Street Trick or Treat. SMG with KISS, 103GBF, WKDQ and Superhits 105.3 will provide a fun and safe environment for trick-or-treaters on Sunday, October 25 from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to Second Street.
