With much regret, Roberts Stadium Management Company, SMG Evansville, announces that the 6th Annual Grill For The Thrill Scheduled for September 20th has been canceled due to increased costs and lack of funding for 2008.

Director of Sales & Marketing, Kathy Embry said, “In the current economic climate it has been difficult to maintain this event as a “free admission” festival. We will be reviewing our course and looking at several options to fund the Grill For The Thrill in the future. We will make every effort to continue on in 2009”.

“We want to thank all of the current sponsors that have been with us for the last 5 years and we look forward to being back in 2009”.

All entry fees for the BBQ contest will be mailed back to the teams.
