Swonder Summer Day Camp

Boys and girls ages 6-12 years old

Campers will participate in a wide variety of activities including crafts, ice skating, science projects, kickball, swimming and many more! Department of Parks and Recreation along with the Evansville School corporation summer program is designed for children 6-14 years. The trained staff will lead activities in arts and crafts, sports, special events and field trips. Stop by any of these schools from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Monday – Friday to participate; Culver, Delaware, Dexter, Howard Roosa, Lodge and Tekoppel elementary schools

Evansville Summer Musical ‘Peter Pan’

July 10- 13^th at the Centre

July 10^th,11^th @ 7:00 p.m.

July 12^th, 13^th  @ 2:00 p.m.

The 20th Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation Summer Musical will take audiences to Never Land this year. EVSC and the Public Education Foundation will present “Peter Pan”. Tickets are $15 for Adults and $10 for Students and Children. Tickets for the 2:00 Matinees are $6 for Students and Children. Tickets can be purchased at The Roberts Stadium Box Office, The Centre Box Office and all Ticketmaster outlets.

Vanderburgh County Fair

Talent Contest

This event is open to all ages and solo or group acts. Entry deadline is July 11^th  with the contest on July 25^th and 26^th. There will be a Junior (12 and under) and a Senior (13-21) division to be judged.  When: Green Group -- July 23, 24, & 25, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 am.

            Clover Group -- July 23, 24, & 25, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

 Where: 4-H Center Auditorium

 Cost: $25.00*

Reservations due July 7, 2008

 *Price includes day camp t-shirt and 1 adult season pass.

*Must be residents of Vanderburgh County and/or members of Vanderburgh County 4-H Program.

*Each group will be limited to the first 30 participants registered.

*All participants will need to meet at the Auditorium.
